At Custom Wood Designs, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with a ready product you have received, we offer a return or exchange option within a specific time frame. Please review the following refund policy:

  1. 30-Day Return Period: You have 30 days from the date of receiving your ready product to request a return or exchange. After this period, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

  2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange: To be eligible for a return or exchange, the ready product must meet the following criteria:

    • It must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.
    • It must include all tags and accessories that were originally provided.
    • You must provide a valid proof of purchase or receipt.
  3. Initiating a Return or Exchange: To start a return or exchange process, please contact our customer support team at info@customwooddesigns.ie. They will guide you through the necessary steps and provide you with a return shipping label, along with instructions on where to send the package. Returns sent without prior communication and authorization will not be accepted.

  4. Inspection and Refund Process: Once we receive the returned ready product, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria mentioned above. We will then notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange request. If approved, the refund will be processed and credited back to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that the processing time may vary depending on your bank or credit card company.

  5. Exceptions: Please note that certain items are exempt from being returned or exchanged, including:

    • Custom-made or personalized products that were specifically created to meet your unique requirements.
    • Products that have been damaged or altered after delivery, except in cases where it is a result of our error or a manufacturing defect.
  6. Damaged or Incorrect Products: If you receive a ready product that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately upon receipt. We will assess the issue and take appropriate measures to rectify the situation, which may include offering a replacement or issuing a refund.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
